Measuring your windows for shutters, whether they’re bay windows, standard windows, large or small, couldn’t be simpler.
Two type of Standard Window do you have?
Measure Inside Mount
The recess is the space created when a window or
door is set back from the interior wall in the room.
We recommend fitting shutters inside the recess
(if available) as it is simple to both measure and install.
Measure Outside Mount
A Non-Recess window is not set back from the interior wall,
for example a traditional Sash window. If there is no
recess then you must choose an Outside Mount Frame.
The frame can be mounted onto window frame,
architrave or the surrounding walls.
